Medulla K+ yellow > red, C-, KC+/- red, P+ orange-red, UV- Distribution is currently unknown, but there are records from England, Scotland and Ireland. Thicker thallus than P. reticulatum with thickened margin and a broad marginal zone without rhizines. Reticulation may be reduced, particularly in young specimens. Thin upright lobes with capitate soralia are absent. Similar: Parmotrema reticulatum. Rhizines extend to lobe tips
