Widespread throughout most of Britain and Ireland, fairly common but declining due to habitat loss

Wingspan: 26-32mm
Flight time: April-August, two broods
Habitat: Hedgerows, fields, woodland edges, gardens and heaths

Larval feed on the leaves of Common Sorrel and Sheep's Sorrel
