UV+ pale orange Found on rocks, the vertical side of limestone gravestones and memorials and on basic-barked trees A slightly lumpy or irregularly warted whitish thallus with prominent large, glossy, chestnut-brown apothecia that are often very crowded. The epithecium has an upper layer of fine granules that do not dissolve in K. Spores 9-15 x 6-8.5 µm. Saxicolous specimens can be confused with Lecanora campestris
