Filago vulgaris * Common Cudweed
Flowering time: July-September. Annual.
Habitat: Declining on sandy, +/- acidic grasslands, roadsides, arable and waste ground.
Stems are +/- branched at base bearing dense, terminal flowerheads with linear, five-rowed, keeled bracts. The linear leaves are wavy-edged and white-woolly without a mucronate point at their tips. Height 5-30cm
